Tasting Notes:

This Zinfandel wine has been aged in oak giving it caramel, vanilla, hazelnut and plum aromas with a surprising taste of red apples.

Winemaker Notes:

The old vine Zinfandel grapes used to make this wine were from Lodi, California where the dry, warm weather produces grapes that make amazing wines. We aged this wine in American Oak which gave it bold spicy flavors of oak, caramel, nutmeg and hazelnut. This wine can be aged and has a flavorful bold start and an easy, smooth finish.

Food Pairing:

Seven Springs Farm steak or a juicy hamburger.
